Prerequisites: Writing sample and permission of instructor
A writing sample is required for this tutorial. See application instructions below. This tutorial is meant for advanced writers with extensive workshop experience who are looking for direct feedback on a portion of their manuscript in an intimate cohort.
Following Sequencing Poetry Manuscripts, students will meet with Yanyi in two small group tutorials, where students will workshop a revised twenty-page sample of their manuscript. The instructor will provide written comments on each student's sample in addition to offering live feedback.
This course includes enrollment to Sequencing Poetry Manuscripts offered on August 10, 2025. If a student is accepted and enrolls after August 10, they will be given access to the recording.
All class sessions will be held on Zoom. For privacy reasons and the tutorial size, the cohort intensive sessions will not be recorded.
